For Immediate Release!!!

FREE USDA Summer Program!!!

The Resource Initiative for Safe Kids (RISKids.org) is proud to announce that for the third year in a row The Social Ecology Aquatic and Leadership (S.E.A.L.) Project is participating in the USDA Summer Food Service Program (SFSP).

What this is...

The USDA SFSP is the single largest Federal resource available for local organizations to combine a feeding program with a summer activity (games, socialization, play) program for youth.  For more info click here

During the school year, nutritious meals are available for children through the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs. But those programs end when school is out of session during the summer. The S.E.A.L. Project / RISKids.org USDA SFSP initiative is designed to fill the gap for children in the community.

This summer The S.E.A.L. Project will will provide FREE!!! nutritious breakfast and lunch meals to all school aged youth (we prefer ages 10 -18), persons with disabilities, and where possible, children under school age  of 10 – Did I mention this was a FREE program?!!!!

What this is NOT!...

THIS IS NOT A DAYCARE SERVICE

We are not required to be licensed by Social Services. We are required to have all parents of youth under the age of fourteen (14) fill out a registration form which outlines the rules of the program and provides us with a emergency contact number.
